The Advisory Committee is an ad-hoc body chaired by the ECOWAS Commissioner in Charge of Agriculture, Environment and Water Resources. It is composed of the Commissioner in charge of Agriculture, Environment and Water Resources, the Director of the Agency, the Director of the Regional Fund for Agriculture and a Representative of farmers’ organizations.

The committee meets twice a year to validate the annual work plan, projects and programs being implemented by regional actors.

The last session of the year is primarily devoted to the analysis of internal or external evaluation reports commissioned by the Agency.
