From 2 to 3 June 2026 in Accra (Ghana), ECOWAS, in partnership with the Government of Ghana, the World Bank Group and the AfDB, is organising a regional roundtable on investment in the West African rice sector.

This meeting will bring together governments, investors, financial institutions and private sector stakeholders to discuss the implementation of the Regional Rice Roadmap 2025–2035.

The aim is to mobilise investment to boost regional rice production, reduce dependence on imports and promote food sovereignty in West Africa.
