The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), with financial support from the French Development Agency (AFD) as a contribution to the West Africa Milk Offensive Support Project, is providing a total budget of one million eight hundred thousand (1,800,000) Euros to fund field projects promoting quality labels for local milk in West Africa.

The funding will be granted to high-quality projects that scale up technical and economic models offering the possibility of developing inclusive, environmentally friendly local milk value chains based on technological, commercial and institutional innovations that increase the supply of high-quality local milk. They will combine different actions and mobilise a range of skills, which will require multi-stakeholder arrangements and various levels of intervention.
