The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), with financial support from the French Development Agency (AFD) as a contribution to the West Africa Milk Offensive Support Project, is providing a total budget of two million two hundred and fifty thousand (2,250,000) euros to finance field projects promoting milk collection in West Africa.

Funding will be granted to high-quality projects whose results will support and document good practices that improve the production, productivity and competitiveness of local milk value chains in West Africa and the Sahel. This includes the development of inclusive, economically and socially viable and efficient technical and economic models that provide income and decent jobs, considering the specific gender issues that exist at different levels of the value chains.
