The Commission of Economic Community Of West African States(« ECOWAS ») has received a financing from European Union ( « EU ») and Agence Française de Développement ( « AFD ») toward the cost of Agroecology Program in West Africa. ECOWAS intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under the Contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued.

ECOWAS now invites Proposals to provide the following consulting services (hereinafter called "Services"): Study on the inventory of existing national and regional networks and platforms in agroecology and training in sustainable agriculture; mapping of the initiatives and organizations involved; and proposals for strengthening a network of agroecology actors in West Africa. More details on the"Services"are provided in the Terms of Reference (Section VII).
